Performed diagnostic. System is not cooling, indoor fan motor is not turning on. Homeowner tried replacing thermostat and system is still not operating. Went into attic and found a dead secondary motor control for indoor fan motor which was causing motor not to turn on. Replaced secondary motor control and motor kicked on. Motor has leaked quite a bit of oil and amp draws are high, replacement of motor recommended. Cycled System for cooling. Temperature split is in range and system is cooling correctly. Checked outdoor unit electrical and system components. Went over recommendations. Approved immediate repair. System is operational upon departure.
