Performed Ac maintenance on 1995 system. We were out here a couple months ago and system was having some issues. Homeowner called her home warranty and problem has been resolved. Wants to keep the unit running for as long as possible without replacing it. Has home warranty in case any parts fail. Cycled system for cooling. Checked indoor unit electrical and system components. Temperature split is in range system cooling correctly. Checked outdoor unit electrical and system components. Primary motor Control slightly burned and pitted. Secondary motor control is within the allowed range. Amp draws for compressor and condenser fan motor high but within range. Pulled condenser fan motor off and thoroughly washed out condenser coil. Replaced 1 inch filter. Went over findings and recommendations with homeowner. Homeowner is aware of age and condition of system and is aware that it has high change of failing. Cycled system, system is operational upon departure.
