Technician arrived on site. Found the gas valve in the off position. Tenants said they tried to relight it and then turned it off. Set valve to pilot position, lit it and then turned it on. Pilot was standing. Turned thermostat to heat and the unit began to heat. Cleaned off electrical connections on valve. Recommend new pilot assembly and gas valve. Unfortunately our company doesn’t service these wall heaters. Heater was on upon departure.
