Arrived on site to diagnose a no cooling 2005 Bryant unit. Condenser in back yard. Furnace located in attic. Spoke with client and he stated he’s had some issues but the tried to fix it himself as he has replaced the secondary motor controls himself and system still didn’t turn on. Advised I would inspect and evaluate the system. Inspected out door unit and found it not getting high voltage. Found breaker was tripped and not allowing high voltage. Flipped breaker rover and system turned on. Found start up to be over amping on start up. Found run amps pulling 25 and Emma. Rated at 28. Advised compressor is working really hard and on a hot summer day compressor is tripping breaker. Fan motor is covered in oil and pulling max amps advised could fail at any time. Checked pressure and found pressure to be good and in range. Inspected indoor unit. Found filter were just replaced recently. Blower ass And wheel is really dirty advised due to lack of Maintenance and filter change out. Evapo
