Performed Fau maintenance on 2 15 year old Aireflo units. Based on the notes customer had some issues with the AC over the summer. She had the upstairs unit replaced by a different company over the summer. When I asked her why and she explained I believe there was a miscommunication in what we were selling her compared to the company that she gave the job too. Cycled furnaces for heat. Checked indoor units electrical and system components. Both blower motors are leaking oil and are working fairly hard. Indoor blower wheels are both dirty. Recommended for filters to be changed out more frequently to prevent added stress and dirt on blower wheels. Cleaned out blower compartment and heating compartment. Tested heating safety operations, system has proper heating sequence. Pulled off blower wheel and evaporator coil to take a look at heat exchanger. Took pictures of hot spots and heat impingements.
