Performed diagnostic on 1989 carrier unit. System is leaking water onto the garage and platform. Noticed it a couple days ago. They just moved in two months ago and do have a home warranty. Cycled system for cooling. System turns on and is cooling. Blew out and Tested primary drain line with water to ensure proper draining from system to the outdoors, water flowing correctly. While system is operating there is slight condensation coming out of outdoor pipe, but there is also water leaking through the inside of the system. Conducted all the tests necessary to determine that primary drain pan is compromised which is allowing water to leak out through the inside of the unit. Furnace does appear to be rusted inside which is indicative that this has been on going for a while. Sealed up primary drain line. Also inspected ducts in attic and found some connections coming off as well as a compromised transition box that it allowing air to leak into the attic. Went over findings and recommendati
