Performed Ac maintenance on 1991 system. Met with husband, wife is out of town. Homeowner states system has been working perfectly. Cycled system for cooling. Checked indoor and outdoor unit electrical and system components. Thoroughly washed out condenser coil. Replaced 1 inch filter. Thoroughly evaluated complete system, findings are as follows: 1. Indoor ducting system is in poor condition. Outer insulation is ripping off In a few portions of ducting system 2. Furnace is a Premier brand furnace. This particular make and model of furnace is recalled due To it being extremely unsafe to operate and known for catching fire 3. Outdoor compressor is over amping on start up 4. Compressor is close to over amping on running 5. Condenser fan motor is starting to leak oil 6. System is very old and inefficient. It is working very hard and indoor furnace is unsafe to operate Went over all findings and recommendations with homeowner. Homeowner is fully informed and is fully aware of the cond
