Arrived on site to perform AC maintenance on package unit. Home has 2 systems, we are only working on the unit on the roof as that is the older of the two. Homeowners just recently moved into home. They had inspection done that said everything was ok, but they want to get it checked. Cycled system for cooling. Checked package unit components and electrical. Compressor amp draws are close to over amping. Amp draws on indoor fan motor and condenser fan motor are going over allowed range, and indoor blower motor has started to leak oil. Temperature split is in range and refrigerant pressures good. Indoor blower wheel is dirty. Primary motor control has some pitting and burning marks at contact points. Rinsed off outdoor condenser coil. Performed attic duct inspection. Ducts are old and outer liner is starting to fall off. System is still operating, but it is older and super inefficient and parts are going to start failing. Went over findings and recommendations with homeowners. They want
