Performed heating maintenance on Goodman unit. Cycled system for heating. Ran system through 20 point inspection. Verified temperature rise. Replaced filter. Checked heating safeties and electrical. Blower wheel is very dirty, and blower motor has been leaking oil and motor casing is significantly caked in dirt and dust. Homeowner waived heat exchanger inspection for today as he doesn’t not want to risk unit being shut down. Went over findings and recommendations. Homeowner wants to take care of cleaning and replacing motor, but wants to wait until next year. System is operational upon departure.
