Performed AC maintenance on 16 year old Aireflo unit. Homeowners have lived in home 16 years, have had maintenance done here and there but never routine maintenance. Cycled system for cooling. Ran system through thorough inspection. Washed out outdoor condenser coil. Performed basic drain line clear. Temperature split is in range and refrigerant levels are good. Concerns with unit are as follows: 1. Unit is condensating through secondary drain line outside of home meaning primary could be clogged. Did basic condensation clear, homeowner will monitor to see if a more advanced clearing is necessary. 2. No condensation safety switch on drain lines. 3. Insulation is attic is very poor and not nearly enough to keep heat out of home. 4. Compressor is pulling significant amount of power and is inefficient and loud. 5. Condenser fan motor is leaking oil and is over amping. 6. Primary motor control is burnt and pitted, secondary motor control is out of Range. 7. System is operating on r-22 ref
