Performed diagnostic on 12 year old York system. Met with Richard who is the son. They had pro flo out recently to do work on indoor units and also installed 2 phenomenal air whole house purifiers. Downstairs system is not cooling, Richard noticed the outdoor fan motor was not spinning. Cycled system for cooling. Outdoor fan motor unresponsive. Found a weak secondary motor control for fan side causing fan motor not to turn on. Put in temporary secondary motor control to cycle system and fully test. Concerns are as follows. 1. Condenser fan motor is over amping and has started leaking oil. 2. Compressor amp draws are high and causing system to work inefficiently. 3. Disconnect box is not fused. 4. Compressor start up is high. 5. System uses r-22 refrigerant which has been phased out. Went over findings and recommendations with Richard who relayed them over to Dianne the homeowner. They are fully aware of the condition of the system. They also asked if I could take a look at other s
