Arrived on site to perform spring tune up on a 3 year old unit. Client stated no issues just wanted it maintenance to make sure it’s running good. Cycled cooling and operational. Washed condenser coil inside and out. Checked electrical compartment. Primary starter is good. Secondary motor control is good and in range. Fan motor is good. Checked start up and run amps on compressor. S start up are good and run as well. Would recommend adding compressor booster to help prevent hard start up and preserve the compressor. Checked pressure and pressure are in range and hood and cooling home. No protection outside and recommended adding some. Filter was hammered and old. Client stated he will be ordering his own and replacing them as he found them much cheaper. Black flex ducting used. Indoor coil okay. Unit is cooling at 18-19 degrees. No protection inside as well and recommended adding surge protectors to protect from electrical surge and power outages that can damage or even short out sys
