Performed AC maintenance on 20-year-old Rheem condenser. Upon my maintenance they were a few points and concerns that were addressed with Karl. Rheem condenser- 1. Found Outdoor condenser fan motor has oil leak is coming from the bearing that could potentially lead to the motor locking up or overheating if left in this condition. 2. Due secondary motor control has become week due to fan were using more power than needing. Fan side terminals are weak 3. Starter showed signs of pitting on contact points and can lead to failure on start up if pitting worsens 4. System contained R22 refrigerant which was completely phased out January 1, 2020. 5. Refrigerant pressures checked out 6. Amperages on compressor were in range Discuss full condition of system with car when he’s completely aware of how it’s running.
