Performed AC diagnostic on three-year-old Goodman condensing unit. Upon my diagnostic and found that the secondary motor control who is blowing on the hermetic side and that the thermal expansion valve contained a restriction. Upon departure system is cooling although not operating properly and is not recommended to run in this condition. 3.5 ton Upstairs- 1. Found that secondary motor control was blown on hermetic side terminal due to compressor pulling high amperage or working too hard. 2. Measure refrigerant pressures and found that my sub cooling was 44° which is extremely high and out of range which indicates that the thermal expansion valve in the evaporator coil has a restriction and is starving the evaporator coil. This can cause the compressors head pressure to skyrocket and if left in this condition can result in more damage to the system. Recommendations- 1. Replace secondary motor control with new one to get compressor operational 2. Replace thermal expansion valve and c
