Performed furnace maintenance on 2001 Goodman heater. All my maintenance there were a few points of concerns that were addressed with the homeowner. 1. Found the heat exchanger had cracks on the eyelids of all three chambers. 2. Static pressure on system was .78 when design static pressures .12 this is exceeding it tremendously. This is caused by low Airflow and will damage the heat exchanger causing over heating. 3. Indoor blower motor leaking oil from bearing this can lock up or overheat causing a failure in cooling and heating 4. Flame sensor has oxidized and is in very bad condition this component is responsible for sensing flames coming off of the burner 5. Hot service igniter has hotspots and carbon buildup 6. Indoor blower cabinet is covered in dust and dirt due to 1 inch filter not stopping enough dust particles. This is causing scroll wheel to become caked in dust and debris 7. Evaporator coil pan is either cracked or rusted out due to water dripping down internal into the ind
