Arrived on site to perform spring tune up on a 2004 comformaker system. Condenser located in back yard. Furnace and Evaporator coil located in attic. Client stated no issue and knows system is old and original to home. Found disconnect in bad condition as the inside connections are hanging out and could be a huge risk as unit dose have live power from breakers if they were to get knocked off. Washed condenser coil inside and out as it was dirty and in bad condition. Checked electrical compartment and components. Primary is burnt up and pitted on contact. Secondary motor control is out of range and bad on both compressor and fan terminals. Recommend replacing both primary and secondary motor control before they completely fail. Fan motor is leaking oil from working hard in past years. Amp draws pulling 1.4 and Max rated at 1.9. Checked compressor amps and found start up high creating extra wear. Would recommend a compressor booster kit to to reduce hard start up and prevent extra stress
