Arrived on site to perform spring on 2016 Payne Unit. Client have just moved in about 5 month’s ago and wanted to get system maintenance. Condenser located in back yard furnace and Evaporator coil located in attic. Client stated no issues. Washed condenser inside and out. Checked all electrical components and connections. Fan motor is good and amp draws. Found compressor start up high and client do run system for comfort. Would recommend adding a compressor booster kit to help keep start up low and prolong life of compressor. Refrigerant pressures are good and cooling hole at 20 degrees. No protection on unit. Cycled system. Inspected indoor unit. Filter was good but would recommend upgrading to a merv rack to better air quality and reduce amount of dirt entering system. Blower assembly motor are good and slight dust from past years. Drain lines are good. Temperature split is good and cooling. Would recommend adding a whole house purifying and cleaning system.
