Performed AC maintenance on 2001 Goodman system. Verified refrigerant pressures were in range and cleaned up condenser coil. Found a deal secondary motor control is far o of range on the hermetic side terminal for the compressor. System Contained R22 refrigerant which was completely phase out January 1, 2020. Starter had slight pitting on contact points although it’s still working at this time. Fan motor also was in range for Amperage. Measured compressor amperage and found that it was pouring a total of 22 which is incredibly high for what is designed for a max of 23 this indicates to me that the compressor is beginning to go out and he’s using more power due to the duel secondary motor control being weak as well.
