Customer wants to install a new gas line for a pool heater a little over 100 feet way from the meter, according to gas sizing chart the line needs to be 2 inches. Customer wants to take care of the digging and understands the ditch needs to be 22 inches deep to meet code requirements. Customer will also handle the one 10 foot spot where the pie needs to be bored or a tunnel dug out. Pricing includes permit fees and us handling the inspection process, customer will contact us when he is ready for the job to be completed.
Customer has a clogged toilet in the menâ€™s bathroom, third stall to the right. Removed a plastic product that someone stashed down the toilet, ran the auger pushing a partial clogg down the sewer line. Flushed the toilet multiple times with no issues, and provided a video of the toilet working now.
Performed annual A.c maintenance in Folsom. Unit is a Luxaire condenser on back of house. Checked coils and are dirty will wash off with hose to improve efficiency. Checked capacitor and is in range 44.9uf/4.9uf. All electrical is in good condition and no damaged or burnt wires. Safety disconnect is in appropriate location to side of unit. Checked duct work and is okay. Filter was just changed on 4-25-2020 no action needed there Condensate is draining properly no clogs. Vent temperature is 53degrees at all vents. Air flow to master bedroom is sufficient but no insulation in garage so heat rises up to that room. Checked unit for proper operation before leaving maintenance call.

Technician performed whole home evaluation and found everything to be working in proper order. Technician tested water heater and flushed it of buildup. Technician cleaned work area of all trash and debris. Technician supplied proposal to replace water heater. Tech collected signatures and payment.
Performed diagnostic found new unit tripping breaker, new breaker, tripping. Replaced the breaker under warranty and tested breaker. Added noalox
Upon arrival found unit with vibration noise vibrating in ceiling. found cause to be from small vibration from unit which is normal but the vibration is causing hot water copper line to vibrate against unit. installed some cork tape around pipe to prevent the vibration from vibrating against the metal casing
On arrival found water buckets underneath air handler in ceiling. carefully removed screws dumped panel to one side emptying water into a bucket. inspected system found somebody has installed an aftermarket condensation pump condensation pump has failed Is not working anymore. my recommendation is to install system back to a natural gravity flow drain and not rely on the condensation pump to pump water out. Found both blower motor assemblyâ€™s completely plugged as well as eve app coil plugged system needs to be cleaned to allow for better airflow and to prevent any problems.
Performed annual ac maintenance split system. Goodman 24 yr old system. Tested system, zoned system working correctly at this time. out side unit is pretty loud. Need to watch growth next to outdoor unit. Tested system refrigerant ok. Electrical compartment showing age, Contactor starting to burn. Dual capacitor has been replaced. Unit needs a good bath. System draining correctly out of primary drain.
Performed estimate for whole house fan, quite cool. Need to put in in ceiling 2-3 bays from in front of furnace closet. Will need to run power, and add a small platform. Estimate good for 30 days.
Customer has had water build up underneath her home and wants to have a sump pump installed. The left front side of the home nearest the opening in the closet is the lowest point. Electrical is about 10 feet away in the front room, drilling a hole through a step. Took pictures of the customers ducting underneath the home as well since some have been sitting in water and have lost there protective cover. Will contact dispatch on Monday to schedule and hvac tech determine if this is an issue.
Gave estimates for replacement with smud qualifying equipment
Customer had another technician out that installed a new shower cartridge, now the handle doesnâ€™t tighten down, it leaks, and it doesnâ€™t go all the way to hot. Turned the water off and removed the cartridge, it looked off a bit so reseated it and turned the water on with no leaks. The cartridge has a scald guard so I turned the temperature up on it and the customer gets hot water now.Handle is missing the set screw that the technician drilled out, purchased a new set screw and tightened the handle down. Customer is happy and now everything works as it should.
Technician Taylor arrived on scene to investigate reports of a leaking shower. Client also mentioned that the tub stopper was not holding water properly. Take visual provide proposals for both items. Technician will shut off water to home. Technician uninstall existing cartridge and attempt to find replacement. If successful technician will install new cartridge and test to ensure proper operation. take me to a clean work area of all trash and debris and collect signatures and payment. Technician will remove existing stopper and restore it. Technician will reinstall and test. This proposal is to replace clients existing tub stopper. technician will disconnect existing one and dispose of properly. Technical install new tub stopper. Technician will test to ensure proper operation and installation. Technician Taylor acquired new Delta 1300 series cartridge to repair shower drip. Technician returned and installed. Technician noted that the drip was significantly better but had not stopped
Reviewed some concerns about home with customer put together various options for install and recommended customer consider air scrubber and or UV germicidal light
Out to perform annual maintenance. Split Trane system attic. With buetler smart vent that has been disconnected. Filter 20-30-1 looks good. Tested system zoning, upstairs by itself, then downstairs by itself. Downstairs has blow by into the upstairs vents. Still concerned about water in pan, too cool, today to test ac, need to come back out once it warms up in a month or two to test ac. Tested the furnace cycling thru stages ok at this time. Checked flame sensor ok. Burners clean. Newer unit that doesnâ€™t run very much furnace looks ok. Biggest concern is going to be on air conditioning. Slight dust burning off when unit starts. We will need to keep an eye on the zoning, working for now. But it is original dampers. And, the water in drain pan.
