Performed ac diagnostic 2 split York systems grass valley. Systems in rough shape, in need of maintenance. Almost every condenser is operating harder than it needs to. Middle unit Does not work. No power. Dirty coils. traced power around unit to breaker, finally found breaker back of maintenance room. Reset breaker test fired system. Compressor sounds bad. All windings tested bad. Recommend replacement of system due to age and type refrigerant. Smaller side unit Working, turns on and is running appears to be low refrigerant. Refrigerant pressures 57/253... could also be a restriction in the the system. Need to try and charge system to see if numbers get better. Set replacement options for this afternoon for ken. To give price of replacing whole system. Replacing condenser and evap coil. And I gave estiment for replacing 3 phase compressor. Added customer supplied refrigerant. R22 took little over a lb got numbers above freezing point.
