Sean and partner were knowledgeable, professional and called to see if they could come early. Job was done quite well and at a fair price.
After putting in the call the Crystal Blue, Sean came out promptly to fix our plumbing. We needed several jobs doing and he was able to do them quickly and his work was high quality. Sean is really knowledgeable and was able to give some great advice for prevention of further problems. We’ll definitely be using Crystal Blue in future.
Michael arrived and immediately went to work on the issue. Found a problem with our control board on our heater, figured out a way to get it to work short term, and got us hooked up with a replacement order immediately. Right as he was leaving our well system pressure pump went out...he immediately said he would look at it and together we figured out the issue. Two issues resolved on one visit. It was such a pleasure working with him.
Tom was recommended to me from my mom and she was right. Tom took the time to explain the estimate to me and the process for installing the dishwasher. He made things easy for me to understand. I will highly recommend him.
Great service and knowledgeable tech.

Performed swamp cooler maintenance. Swamp cooler was off and the water was off as well. Client turned on water and water basin filled. Float worked as designed. No leaking at this time. Opened up unit to look at internals, belt looks good not cracking. bearings look ok, well lubricated. Tested swamp cooler on full both pads rotate in around 1min15secs. and on with just fan. System has slight vibration. All ok at this time. System in good shape for age. Client aware it won’t last forever but it works for now. Client had local handyman replace belt and pulley recently. Due to come back out for furnace tune up in oct/nov client would like to sign back up for maintenance then.
Water heater was non-operational upon arrival. Tested unit and determined that the system was operational but has had a safety reset occur. I reset the system, but warn that the problem will reoccur. This water heater is far out of code (circuit breakers hanging out of the wall, behind a door, no drain pan, T&p not run to exterior, no disconnect, electrical work is highly suspect). Recommend repiping the system by replacing both water heaters and setting on the same system. Explore tankless due to usage and potential flow rate of the home. Restored hot water, unit is operational at the moment, but will fail. No warranty whatsoever on the work performed today.

Performed ac diagnostic on 30yr dedicated horizontal furnaces split systems. found that master bedroom is controlled by thermostat on far side of house. All of the bedrooms are controlled together. And living space is controlled by other thermostat. Master bedroom doesn’t get great airflow. Best airflow goes to master bedroom walk in closet. That’s because the unit and the bedroom are on other sides of the house. Tested both units working at this time. Due to age of the system don’t recommend any repairs. Recommend replacement. Found that bedrooms are all controlled together, and living space is other unit. If interested in replacement call back in and we can have our comfort advisor come back out and go over replacement options for 2 systems and duct work.
Run camera down clean out to complete a inspection
Performed diagnostic on mini split system with 2 power heads. Found that the drain line for the leaking powerhead was caused by rats chewing thru the line before it connects to the pvc. The unit is on an interior wall. They have cut small access next to unit. Other access side of house roof next to outdoor unit. To fix problem would need to disconnect the unit from wall and remove and replace bad drain line. Then recommend running new pvc drain line to exterior to get proper slope in line. Then also at same time recommend cleaning washable filters at each powerhead. And washing the rooftop outside unit down. Cleaning the coils will help with Efficiency.
Performed ac diagnostic. Found tstat not attached. Re attached tstat, and tested system, system operational. Client to call in when ready and we can come back out and quote duct repairs and sealing.

Performed diagnostic split system ducts under home, found whole in duct in master bedroom. Traps have caught 2 rats in 48hrs... so can’t guarantee they aren’t still there and won’t chew thru anywhere else. Reset traps under house. Recommend regular maintenance plan on system so we can catch things before they become issues. Need to pull off 8†duct remove broken chewed thru section. Pull duct tight with slack in duct run, to make up for removed part. Then re attach duct to boot correctly using both panduit straps and sealant. Duct reattached well, system had enough slack. No tight bends. Need to check from inside but looks good out here under house.
Performed inspection on heating and air system, set up for ken to come back out. And see what can be done.
