Customer has a septic tank and a sewer pump that is not working, she had a company pump out all the waste before we arrived. Upon diagnosis the electrical for the floats is all covered in waste and the water tight electrical box is compromised. Techs discovered floats to be malfunctioning, when removed from septic tank the wrong floats would se o the alarm. Techs shut of power to pump and continued to investigate. Techs removed cover of electrical hookup inside tank to discover it was not screwed in propoerly since last service and had filled with sewage. Techs believe this is the cause of the malfunctioning float. Techs documented with photos. Techs typed up estimate for a replacement float and electrical box and presented to Client. Client accepted proposal and Techs set up return appt. for tomorrow morning, Friday 02/07/2020. Techs also informed Client of membership options.
