Reviewed boilers ans dimensions and reviewed access to building. Need to walk through steps with sections, boiler will need to be broken down and installed in sections on site.
Talked to Chris and Emma about the home and expectations. They are keeping the thermostat settings higher to make it warmer on the 2nd floor. Sjowed them how to put the fan in circulate mode to circulate air. Reviewed building and found lots of opportunity for improvement in attic space. Will email proposal today.
Performed Quality Assurance on Trane Gas Furnace/AC system. Ran system in Heating and Cooling modes. Tested the ez trap safety. Reviewed all programming on system. Reviewed installation with homeowner. She said the installers were very nice and polite. She said Jay/Jason was nice and he was doing a lot of the work. She said Nathan was very serious and dry. Completed checklist form in system. The new Furnace is shorter than the old one so there is not as much pitch on the condensate drain. Condensate is for the AC only since it is an 80% Furnace. Poured water through and it was draining. Leave a note for six month inspection to check the drain pipe to make sure it is draining correctly.
Looked at ductwork in basement and return in the house Some walls we moved -return drop only pulling back 1000 cfms I took a lot of pictures and will lay it it to get move air back to system to lower the static This will help but will resolve all the airflow issues . Will call customer next week with quote.
Check hp system ; found lack of return ductwork for a 5tons unit. Only pulling back 3.2 tons of air needs 5 tons of air - static 1.2 New heat-pump/return drop 20/12 - customer said some return were taken out also.
