Performed precision heat tune up on Lennox heat pump. Replaced 20x20x1 air filter. Checked all electrical conections and components. Serviced Aprilaire humidifier with #35 humidifier pad. Checked operation of emergency heat. Found humidistat reading 46% humidity. Put humidifier into test mode and humidifier ran fine. Explained to homeowner that as warm as a winter we have been having humidifier will not cycle as much due to less heating run cycles. Turned up humidistat to highest setting. Checked refrigerant pressures and defrost mode. Did hear compressor change in an audible sound while running, this is wear and tear with age of compressor. Let Neal know that the compressor could stop all together or it could run like this for a while. He is going to see how it goes at this point.
