Service call that the Gas Furnace was not working. Upon arrival spoke with customer about issue. Was informed that the system went through several attempts to start and run and then began to run later. Turned heat up to test operation. Found inducer motor running but pressure switch was not closing. Found a bees nest in Intake Vent Pipe at burner box screen. Removed and blew through Intake and Exhaust Piping and removed another bees nest from the intake pipe. Exhaust Vent pipe had a lot of water that had accumulated. Found the Exposed Exhaust Pipe is pitched the wrong way in one section. This could be causing water to pool and not drain properly which could also cause pressure switch problems in the future. Cycled system multiple times and measured pressure across the Switch. Pressure switch was rated for 1.4†WC and was testing at 1.7-1.8†WC upon completion. Burners on unit are very rusted. Also found Heat Exchanger was very rusted. Cleaned Flame Sensor and performed a combustion
