Found downflow mobile home furnace inducer motor bearings are failing, recommended replacement of inducer motor. Also gave customer a round about figure to replace downflow propane gas furnace and a/c. Homeowner wanted to just replace inducer motor, called distributer and got a price to replace the inducer motor. Homeowner has a coupon for $30.00. On repair. Also performed combustion test. Called office and got part ordered. Furnace is working, but don’t know how long inducer motor will hold out for. 1/3/21 . Installed inducer motor , secured electrical conections. Sealed joints with high temperature silicon electric. Cycled on propane furnace and checked amp draw of inducer motor. Inducer moter was drawling .6 amps and very quiet. Checked temperature rise of furnace was 38 degrees, and performed combustion test. Gas furnace is working fine at time of service.
