No heat, found heater off upon arrival, start heater and check operation, heater would ignite then shutdowns, found defective flame sensor, also installed new air filter, and a well as new blower 5 mfd, due to very weak only reading 3 mfd, after all repairs, test unit ok cycle ok combustion test ok HIGHLY RECOMMEND REPLACING AIR FILTER ONCE EVERY MONTH
Removed water heater . We had to disconnect the gas , high voltage and condensate piping from furnace to get the water heater out of the closet. Installed new 40 gal natural gas water heater . Reconnected hot and cold water pipes . We installed a new ball valve for the water heater . The shut off before was in the back and very hard to get to . Now itâ€™s in the front and ez access. We reconnected gas and exhaust pipe to the water heater . We bubble tested the gas line . We reconnected condensate pipe , gas pipe with bubble test and high voltage to the furnace. The furnace off and on switch was cracked at the back of the switch so I replace the switch with a new one . Tested both furnace and water heater and both were running to standards. I would recommend the furnace to be serviced due to the age of the equipment and the last time it was serviced.
Recommend replacing primary control,,,,,,,replace combination primary/transformer with new ignition transformer and new primary control, also installed new cad cell, adjust settting to delay valve to 10 seconds, cycle and test couple times ok stars with no problem, cad cell reading 90 ohms, test limit ok, when opens cuts 115 volts to burner,
Upon arrival found Carlin combination primary/transformer locked out, check T T STATUS closed, check 115 volts to combination pri/trans ok getting 115 to tried to reset but was not able to reset,,,finally was able to reset, check cad cell reading 600 ohms, put in new cell temporarily for testing purposes reading 160. Primary went on locked out during testing, and couldn't reset it, would hold reset button for over 1 minute but still not resetting recommended replacing primary control ,,,,
Installed a new amana outdoor unit on a new pad. New disconnect and whip were also installed. Inside we installed a new amana gas furnace with an amana coil on top. We adapted the existing supply plennum to the new coil. Installed air cleaner onto the return. We tied the gas piping back in and adapted the flue piping to the new coil. Ran a new condensate drain and installed a new EZ trap and new condensate pump. Both the ez trap and the new pump are wired to the unit. Ran new vinyl tubing to the sewer where the old one was ran. Flushed and pressure tested the line set and pumped down the system. We tested in heat and cool and the system is running to factory standards.
Performed oil cleaning in hot air furnace check electrical low and high ok clean heat exchanger replace nozzle .85x70A new rf1 oil filter replace electrodes,,,check for leaks ok, smoke test and combustion test had to remove flue pipe and clean base also seal the base, would recommend replacing flue pipe,,,,6 in pipe two 90s and about 4 feet pipe

When I arrived the outdoor unit was not running . The homeowner told me that he replaced the Capacitor once and the system ran then it stoped working and he replaced the Capacitor again and nothing worked . I checked the Capacitor and it was reading fine 40/5 . I then checked all the low and high voltage wiring. The wiring was fine . I then checked the low voltage from the indoor to the outdoor . That was fine . I checked the board on the outdoor unit . I had high and low voltage to the board . I had no low voltage from the board to the contactor. I checked the refrigerant to find the system flat with zero pressure. Due to the age of the equipment and the shape that it's in and it's r22 I would recommend to replace it . I built a estimate for the repairs that the system would need to run and I explained to the homeowner that even know we do the repairs that there's no way to tell how long it will last . I billed out for the service charge and the homeowner was going to think about wha
Installed new mini split system for the 3rd floor . We had to cut in a access hole in the knee wall to run the line set . We ran the line set through a knee wall to the roof eve . The line set then goes from the roof eve outside though slimduct to the mechanical rooms roof . We then went through the mechanical rooms roof into the mechanical room then came out of the mechanical room at ground level to the outdoor unit . We sealed up the holes with white caulk . We sealed the roof with roof tar . We made all low and high voltage connections . We flared the line set to the indoor unit and outdoor unit . We pressure tested , bubble tested , evacuated and charged the system to standards . We made the connection to the indoor condensate hose and ran it with the line set to ground level . We tested the condensate by pouring one gallon of water in the coil pan and watched it drain . We installed a new 15 amp double pole breaker in the electrical panel . We ran a new wire from the panel to the
