Performed two ac tune ups, one geothermal and one heat pump, check electric low and high ok flushed drain test pump ok, check temp split ok, noticed capacitor for heat pump is running low, customer is aware, check refrigerant pressures ok cycle unit ok on geothermal, filter ok temps on supply and return ok flushed drain and clean coil ok cycle unit ok capacitors for geo unit are starting to be low, right now they are at the 6% tolerance cycle both units ok
Recovered refrigerant and disconnected, removed and disposed of furnace and ac. Installed new furnace on furnace feet, installed new vent piping, reconnected gas line, adapted to existing return metal, created new supply transition. Sealed supply transition. Flushed and pressure tested line set. Installed new coil and new outdoor unit on new pad. INstalled new disconnect box and wiring outside. Installed new condensate drain system with condensate pump and EZ trap. Started up and commissioned new equipment. Tested heating and cooling operation. Filled out all forms. Left unit in Cooling Mode set to 70 degf.
Arrived at customers home. Spoke to Philip regarding what has been going on. Set the agenda and proceeded to the basement. Checked over both indoor and outdoor unit. All pressures and temps are good. Air flow good. Did find some loose connections on low voltage wiring at outdoor unit. Secured low voltage wiring. Tested in Heating and Cooling and all pressures are good. Tried to get it to fault code and system did not. Need to research more into operation of core sense module. System running good when we finished. No charge for this visit.
Geothermal system not working, will work for about 20 mins then would shutdown, check operation check water temp in and out ok 9 degree difference also check supply and rerun air supply 49 return 69 check refrigerant charge ok, unit goes into loss of charge code, bypassed switch for testing and unit works fine no codes and continues to run, faulty switch, we will need to contact manufacturer see if we can add loss of charge on suction line of refrigerant line if not major work will be involved, we will get back to customer once we find out from manufacturer also informed customer about evap coil being dirty
Replace capacitor and contactor, add super boost and removed blower wheel and clean it, service plan included test ac unit cycle ok check r22 pressures ok 180/70 outdoor 69 indoor 69
Performed ac tune up check electrical low and high ok replaced filter check blower cap and wheel, check split ok noticed blower wheel has excessive dust informed customer about situation, check outdoor unit refrigerant r22 pressures ok found weak compressor cap and contactor making buzzing sound, compressor is working harder than usual due to age, recommended adding super boost this will minimize the extra work the compressor is doing during every start, and replace capacitor and contactor, emailed proposal to customer and present solutions

Performed ac tune up check electrical low and high ok, replace air filter, check blower cap and blower wheel, blower wheel is super dirty, informed customer about situation, check split only getting 12 degree split, supply 58 return 69, check outdoor unit and found system low on refrigerant, system will not work when it comes time to use the ac, explained customer about systems leaking refrigerant could be inside or outside equipment, total repair can range from 2500 to 3500 depends where the leak is, recommend having system replacement due to high cost of repairs bill to come out on Monday mourning
Installed new defrost board and switch under warranty. Secured wiring with zip ties. Cycled heat pump in both heating and cooling mode. Then jumped out defrost switch and put system through defrost mode. Heat pump is working fine at time of service.
Found amana heat pump locked out on a code 3. This code is ( compressor short cycling) . Reset outdoor defrost board by disconnecting red wire and re applying 24 volts. Tested heat pump in both heating and cooling mode. At 50 degrees outside temp. Heating pressures were 269/105. Kicked heat pump into defrost mode by jumping defrost sensor and putting board into test mode. Found compressor short cycling while in defrost mode. Defrost board was not keeping it in defrost mode. Will need to order defrost board and switch on Monday. Showed homeowner how to reset breakers until we receive part.
Performed precision a/c tune up on American standard a/c system. Homeowner had just replaced custom 1â€ air filter. Checked all electrical conections and components. Blew out and inspected condensation drain. Checked temperature split at indoor air handler. Checked refrigerant pressures and temperatures at indoor and outdoor units. System is working fine at time of service.

Removed 2 old oil tanks. Transferred all oil to new tank. Installed new legs, fill piping, and vent piping. Installed new whistle and gauge. Installed plugs in unused ports. Reconnected oil filter and bled line. Tested boiler operation. Sealed holes with hydraulic cement. Checked for leaks. System working fine at time of service.
replaced leaking section of cast iron baseboard. Went to fill system and found 2 more leaks at other baseboards in same room. Once they heated up and expanded the leaks became clear. Quoted replacement and will return to complete. Returned to replace remaining 2 sections of baseboard. Replaced and filled/purged system. System was running fine for 30 minutes. After system got to temp another cast baseboard started leaking through painted crack. We drained system again and turned off zone.
