Service call that there was water coming from the Registers. Spoke with Homeowners and was informed that there was water coming from the vents during the heavy rain storm yesterday. Used Attic access to locate the Registers in the bedroom in the attic. Removed the Insulation from around the Registers and found some signs of water. The one register is behind a wall and cannot be accessed. The insulation was not wet and no visible rain damage was scene from the roof above. The Flex Duct in the Attic is only rated R-4. Standard insulation for attic spaces is R-8. Tested system and found the Air Filter to be extremely dirty. Replaced the 20x25x1 Air Filter and took air temperatures and checked refrigerant pressures. Found no signs of water or condensation while system was operating. System was operating to standards. Do to the issue occurring and stopping during and immediately after the heavy rain storm, Recommend having the Roof inspected to see if there is water leaking through. Wou
