The technician went about doing his inspection and repairs in a professional manner. He had to replace a part and explained the reasons for it. He even cleaned out a rats nest and a very dead rat from our air conditioner unit out back.

Removed old equipment and installed new Rheem 3 ton a/c, 3 ton evaporator coil with 80 gas furnace. Installed new return plenum with 16x25x4 filter, new emergency drain pan, new pan safety switch, new coil safety switch, new thermostat and new composite pad for outdoor unit. Reconnected high voltage, low voltage, drain line, gas line, vent pipe and all return ducts. Tested system operations in heating and cooling, set refrigerant charge.
Completed single system cooling maintenance , checked filter, unit operating properly at this time. Office will collect
Arrived today to replace indoor evaporator coil and indoor txv on unit #7 removed malfunctioning parts then installed new parts along with replaced filter drier.Once parts were installed performed a pressure test with nitrogen placing 376psi within equipment confirming it was able to hold pressure successfully indicating there isn’t a leak present.Next pulled a vacuum down to 425 microns then added 8lbs of 410A which is factory charge of refrigerant to equipment.Lastly once repairs were completed confirmed the indoor & outdoor equipment was fully operational checked blower amps, fan amps, compressor amps, capacitor & refrigerant levels confirming all to be in specifications equipment is cooling properly again at this time.

Arrived today due to 2018 Trane not cooling which is responsible for the main level upon arrival thermostat was at 76° with a desired temperature of 71°.Confirmed the indoor equipment was operational but the outdoor equipment was non-operational once operation was confirmed began diagnostic on the indoor equipment the filter 16x20x1 was gently used not showing any signs of being discolored or clogged.Blower motor was fully operational not showing any signs of being intermittent or dropping out.Blower wheel & indoor evaporator coil was inspected finding minimum build up.Drain line was blew out & flushed confirming it wasn’t clogged and properly draining.Condensate pump was also cycled confirming its ability to operate.Flood prevention was tested confirming it was properly operating.Inspected wires along with connections not finding any broken, damaged or arced wires along with didn’t find any damaged or loose connections.Once finished with diagnostic on the indoor equipment began diagno

Returned today to perform nitrogen leak search on HVAC #7 which is a 2023 Carrier.Located leak on the discharge shredder core along with on the indoor evaporator coil has pin-needle leak.A quote has been provided to replace indoor evaporator coil and TXV along with charge equipment to factory specifications.Spoke with manufacturer/distributor looking into warranty confirming there currently isn’t a warranty and equipment was not registered
Performed a six system cooling maintenance on Rheem package units the ODT is 63°.Upon arrival tested operation of equipment confirming the equipment was fully operational once operation was confirmed began evaluation of the equipment there are sixteen 16x16x2 and sixteen 20x24x2 which were gently used replaced each on this visit.Blower motor was fully operational not showing any signs of being intermittent or dropping out.Blower wheel and evaporator coil was inspected on each system finding none to be currently dirty.Inspected ductwork on each system finding there was a loose connection allowing water infiltration towards heat exchanger applied HVAC grade tape & mastic to eliminate issue.Inspected wiring and connections not finding any broken, damaged or arced wires along with no loose connections.Checked fan amps, compressor amps, capacitor and refrigerant levels confirming all were in specifications as of ODT.Equipment is cooling properly at this time with no concerns to be reported.
