Upon arrival call for blank thermostat, upon arrival thermostat was lit up and actively call for heat at 77 degrees thermostat was reading 77 degrees in building. Was not getting any error codes on roof, likely cause Is unit was overheating, adjusted fan blower speed in heat mode to move more across Heat Exchangers, system is operating properly at this time.

Removed old equipment and installed new carrier 4 ton gas package unit. Installed curb adapter to properly set the new package unit. Installed new T6 WiFi thermostat. Reconnected high voltage, low voltage, drain line, and gas line. Tested system operations in heating and cooling.
Upon arrival checked over system investigated water dripping from ceiling. Checked over package Unit on roof. Drain pan is leaking water into system and then further down into ceiling. Drain pan is metal and has significant amount of rust, erosion and oxidation which has caused water to leak. Preformed safety inspection on heat exchangers found multiple holes and cracks in heat exchangers. Heat exchangers must be sealed, during the heating season with a crack or hole there is a greater possibility of carbon monoxide leaking into space, system has 13 different holes, and cracks. Would strongly recommend to not run heat until Heat Exchangers are replaced or system is replaced. System is running on R22 refrigerant system holds 6 pounds 6 ounces, system is low on R22 roughly 1-2 pounds.R22 is no longer in production due to EPA regulations, supply of R22 is dwindling, there is dye present in system, this indicates there is a known leak inside. Call for a second opinion, found that the condenser was not energize, power was shut off to condenser at disconnect turned on and compressor hummed and turned off, temporarily installed a Hard start and compressor pulled over LRA and immediately turned off, checked compressor windings none were open or shorted to ground, compressor is either locked up or internal damage. DCM1 complete; AC; (1) F16201 replaced. System is fully functional. All components are operating within manufacturer specifications. Refrigerant pressures and temperatures are appropriate for indoor and outdoor conditions. AC checklist attached.
DCM1 service 2 of 2 AC. Found multiple metal ducts in attic missing insulation, some duct have fallen From metal hanging wire causing some connection points to leak air. Supply plenum is not insulated, ducts and plenums that are not insulating are at risk of creating condensation in attic. With the lack of insulation on ducts it affect the ability to maintain hot/cool air, that is exposed to non condition attic air. Furnace flue vent is all elbows and not properly vented, this is a code violation. Due to condition of duct work, plenums and flue vent would strongly recommend replacement.
