Replaced an American Standard Silver 14 AC unit. Disconnected and removed the old unit, ensuring safe disposal according to EPA guidelines. Installed the new condenser and air handler, verifying proper placement and secure mounting. Connected the refrigerant lines, electrical wiring, and drain line, ensuring all connections were airtight and secure. Charged the system with R-410A refrigerant to the manufacturer’s specifications. Calibrated the thermostat and checked system pressures, superheat, and subcooling values.
