This was a routine check on a one-year old furnace. Jacob cleaned a couple of components and gave it the "thumbs up" for the winter. Family HVAC is very professional, honest, reliable & reasonable. There staff is very easy to work with and never try to "upsell" you. What else can you ask for?

The technician(Juan) arrived on time. He immediately went to work check the thermostat and inside system. He then went outside to check equipment. Once the check was completed Juan went over the check and asked me if I had any questions. He was friendly and worked efficiently.

B1 Clean & Check Service Cleaned and Tested heating system. Everything is working well at this time.
Performed tuneup on gas furnace. During inspection found alot of rust in combustion chamber and crack in left eyelet. System is pushing out 11ppm ambient and climbing before turning operation off. Homeowner does not have carbon monoxide detectors. ADVISE TO NOT OPERATE SYSTEM. Matt is scheduled today to provide repair vs replace estimate, system is 25 years old.
Performed furnace Mai fence on system, check led amp draws on blower and inducer, both are testing well within factory range. Pulled igniter and flame sensor, checked both for damage, both tested within factory range as well. Filter was clean upon arrival, very little buildup on blower, but still recommend a cleaning to keep up with factory specifications. Gas pressure was perfect and burners were clean and clear of any debris or obstructions.
B2 Clean & Check Service Cleaned and Tested heating system. Filter needs to be replaced ASAP. Everything is working well at this time.
