B1 Clean & Check Service Garage furnace Blower motor is leaking oil. It also doesn’t have a filter slot, so it currently doesn’t have a filter. Furnace is working at this time. Basement Furnace Blower wheel has some buildup on blades. Filter slot doesn’t have a good seal and sucking air from basement. The transition box on the Supply side has Come apart and a new one needs to be installed. Also the high voltage and low voltage need to be installed correctly.
Duct design is all messed up. Units are mix matches and undersized. Matt is going to come out tomorrow to quote mini splits and redesigning duct.
Homeowner not home. Car is parked under access for attic.
Follow up call from tuneup. Found bypass humidifier housing with hairline crack causing water leak during operation. Homeowner has had multiple water issues with this unit. Recommend upgrading to whole home steam humidifier for platinum tier humidification or replacing bypass with new bypass humidifier versus replacing just the housing. The water valve to the humidifier was turned off. The humidity in the house was at 30%. Turned the water on and set the humidistat to 40%. Found no other issues, everything is functioning correctly.

B1 Clea & Check Service Cleaned and checked heating system. Both contactors are heavily pitted they need to be replaced. One of the heater strips has high amps. Blower start assist is testing below the 6% variance, needs to be replaced. Recommend replacing the heater pack. Customer wants to wait on repairs. Everything is working at this time.

Replaced control board not engaging 2nd stage heating. Verified system entered 2nd stage and gas valve engaged 2nd stage. System operating properly at this time. Advise against operating humidifier currently in place, if humidifier is desired- steam humidifier would be best option
Called out for heat not operating properly, homeowner stated temperature on thermostat would vary 2-4° under setpoint. Upon arrival tested heat pump and auxiliary heat and verified proper operation. Thermostat has a 4° deadband before engaging aux heat during heat pump operation. Turned up 5° and aux engaged. When below 35° outside, recommend turning on emergency heat to help keep temp in the house.

Performed furnace tuneup, this is first visit on new contract. Bearings starting to make noise on inducer- amp draws are under max rating. Homeowner was doing floor remodel and cracked tee for condensate line. Unable to replace just the tee due to space constraints, Replaced starter, portion of pvc and cracked tee. System is operating properly at this time.
