Found control board burned on backside at incoming high voltage. Power surges have been common in the area recently. Furnace is under parts warranty until 02/2027. Control board is on backorder from the factory and gave an estimated lead time of 1-2 weeks. Control board ID: HK42FZ0610517 V04.
Air has high voltage electrical issues. All the wires inside the cabinet have been compromised. System needs to be replaced. Matt will meet with customer on Monday at 9am.

Finished ductwork , hood vent, and bath vent
Called out for noise in ductwork. Isolated down to zone 1 damper slipping when trying to close. Teeth on gear is slipping when trying to close due to gear being worn out. Ordered damper and will return next week when part arrives to replace damper.
Performed heating tuneup, this is last visit on current contract. Changed customer provided filter, system is functioning properly at this time.
Garage unit- changed customer provided filter. blower motor wheel has substantial buildup accumulating. Blower motor is leaking oil- motor is a sealed motor and should not be leaking oil, this is an indication motor is starting to fail. System is 15 years old- recommend getting quote for replacement before doing repair. Crawl unit- system is functioning properly at this time, recommend adding Air scrubbers to both systems to help combat bacterial growth. Current uv system that is in place is for coil protection only and does not protect indoor air quality
Customer was pushing the wrong button on the thermostat, pressing Schedule instead of Hold. Everything is working well at this time
Unit has bad capacitor making blower pull high amps. Also had crack in heat exchanger. Customer refused to hear options on repair vs replacement. Recommended replacement of system. High voltage coming into system up agains metal. This is a fire hazard.
