Spectacular, efficient, and 100% effective

Our burner was failing and it took many weeks for the replacement unit to be delivered. In the meantime, Folkes provided us with electric heaters which kept our house warm and inhabitable. Then today, Danny arrived with the new burner, installed it along with a number of needed additional components and our house is perfectly heated!!!! GREAT SERVICE AND CARE!

Need to return cannot get pressure to stay below 20 with boiler not running. Attempted to replace feeder and new feeder is also bringing pressure to over 20 before boiler is even operating. Customer mentioned the town increased water pressure which may be causing issue. In order to give customer heat for the night I left valve for main water for boiler in off position and left boiler pressure at 15 pre operation. Let it run through a full cycle and pressure did not increase. Need to return tomorrow to figure out boiler pressure issue.

Found basement water heater with 2 bad elements. Replaced both, filled and purged air before turning back on. Tested elements after and working properly.

Customer had issue with boiler coming on and off. Found basement thermostat set for 90 degrees causing thermostat to never reach temperature making boiler come on and off. Set thermostat to 70 and boiler shut down at high temp and did not come back until a call for heat was made. System running, please mail invoice.

Was not receiving 120 at aquastat upon arrival. Founder breaker in panel tripped. Reset and boiler fired up and began running. Turned on and off to make sure boiler fired up each time. Let system run until pipes got hot. System now running normally, customer sold home and does not wish to purchase ma.

Lennox whisper heat. Found filter completely plugged. Ustomet also complained of light headed during boiler operation. I performed combustion test and readings are normal. Couldn’t remove bolt to remove blower motor to get into heat exchanger. Landlord should replace unit. System is very old and soot build up on unit. I ran all safety tests and everything is currently checking out.

Found blower motor making grinding vibration sound when running. Checked squirrel cage and it is intact. Recommend replacing blower motor. Also found smoke pipe falling apart and fumes being dumped into basement, need replace smoke pipe. Took pictures and filled out follow up form for motor and smoke pipe, customer had Wilson oil out here to perform service and cleaning, customer would like us to give pricing to replace all parts.

Upon arrival found boiler pressure at zero and first floor getting no heat. Found expansion tank water logged and air vent corroded. Replaced waterfeeder, air vent and expansion tank. Purge both zones free of air and let boiler get to temperatures.

Service for no water: Arrived to the customers home. Customer does not have hot water going to the kitchen sink and dishwasher. But has cold water. The entire house is working fine. Went downstairs and located the water lines. Water line was slightly frozen. Customer provided a space heater. Within minutes the water line cleared. Charged only for evaluation. Paid with a card. Told the customer that we also do antifreeze service for the heating system.

Arrived at customers house to perform your maintenance, checked over downstairs system everything looks good, while checking over upstairs system noticed pressure switch was intermittently working, change pressure switch

Service for no hot water: Arrived to the customers home. Customer states that they run out of hot water in their tub shower. Hot water is available throughout the house. Told the customer that the cartridge needs to be replaced. Did not have part in the truck, went to the supply house to look for one but was unsuccessful. Managed to get them some hot water that is tolerable. Ordered part and it will be arriving to their home. Leak under kitchen sink. Missing washer on trap. Tightened the nuts and checked for leaks. Customer says there is not heat in the downstairs zone. Checked the thermostat and the zone valve. Checked the wiring. Told the customer that I could replace their zone valve and did so. There were still some issues with the connection. Did not have any thermostat wire in the truck. Wired the 2 zone valves together. Upstairs thermostat opens both zones now. Told the customer that they need a new thermostat wire for downstairs. Only charged 200 for the zone valve since it di

2nd floor unit has a low pressure switch at condenser causing fuse to trip at air handler, needs to be replaced in the spring, system is currently running and safe to run. Jumped out low pressure switch at condenser, unit is running fine with no issues.
