Service for a sink hole in the front yard. Customer would like to have us inspect the sewer main to see if there is a break or separation in the pipe. There is a double wye cleanout just outside the home. Sent the camera both ways up and down the sewer main and found that the 4†clay sewer line is in great condition for the most part except the last 25 feet before the sewer main under the road and there is a few little separations but that is leading to a lot of roots building up in the pipe. Sewer is currently free flowing but will definitely back up completely within a couple months. Recommend hydro jetting the sewer main from the clean outs and then for the more permanent repair, we would put an apoxy liner inside the pipe in the areas where the roots are penetrating. There is always a possibility that the pipe above the roots that we cannot see is broken or severely cracked.
