Excellent, prompt, courteous, knowledgeable
Service Tech was very efficient and knowledgable.
Great thank you for everthing
However I was surprised (not advised) that I would need to replace filter $100.00 When I installed system I was told 2 free service visits
Folkes is amazing. They assess your issue quickly from the moment you call, communicate with you every step of the way, from confirming your info to giving you a pretty exact picture of when their techs are coming – calling and texting you when they're on their way. Service itself is totally expert.
Great service, a bit expensive but would recommend in case of emergency

Customer stated last night went upstairs last night to turn AC on and heat also came on. I couldn’t get system to recreate system cycled a few times and boiler didn’t come on. Did look at aqua stat and noticed two thermostat wires touching so reset wires to not touching. May have to do a process of elimination until system does it again if it does do it again.
Performed annual maintenance on two systems. Changed both return filters 18x20x1. Replaced first floor air handler capacitor, cleared all condensate drains, cleaned both inside coils. At condensers tested pressures which were normal, both turbo capacitor tested in range, contactors in good condition. Both systems operational and working.
Frozen coil, need to return tomorrow.
Found condenser not on, the capacitor was not giving me any reading. Replaced and system started. It is working good.
Found primary pan overflowing due to restricted drain. Cleared drain, removed water, tested with water, checked system running pressures and temperatures.
Nest thermostat stated that no power Y circuit. Cleared code, both air handler and condenser energized. Checked system running pressures and temperatures. Checked low voltage wiring (Y) at condenser. Customer does have comverge box. Central Hudson May have shut down condenser remotely, as no problems found with system at this time.
Installed Mitsubishi mini split system, 3 wall mounted air handlers and 1 multi zone condenser.
Performed ac tune up on 2 systems. Checked pressures cleared drains, checked coil, delta ts, capacitors and contactors. 1st Floor system had a clogged drain causing water to overflow into return duct work below system. Removed water and unclogged drain line. 2nd floor system compressor would not fire up, found capacitor to be failing on compresssor side, replaced with Turbo 200 and compressor fired up. After firing up 2nd floor compressor found frozen levels to be low. Informed customer of issue and he declined to recharge system. Systems are operating.
Found bad aquastat, not sending voltage down to primary control, also primary took water damage not working properly, found refrigeration lines not insulated properly that leaked onto primary control, insulated. Hydrostat replacement for Aquastat was not compatible with old well had to replace, tested, system operational.
System low on r-410, charged, tested, system operational. Recommend maintenance.
Completed annual maintenance on air conditioning system for two systems. Addition unit had a washable filter which I brushed out, first floor unit replaced both return filters 16x25x1. Tested blower wheel amp readings which were normal. Cleaned addition unit coil, first floor unit is enclosed. At condensers tested pressures which were normal, capacitor tested normal, contactors in good condition. Both systems operational and working. Customer also renewed maintenance agreement on both AC units and oil furnace.
Customer stated system was just installed by a friend. 4 ton system with plenty of supply vents but not enough return air, system has a 14x30 return, we need to add 2 more 12x12 returns for the system. Also need to add a trap onto the system for the system to drain properly.
Performed ac tune up x2, checked all components and pressures. Systems are operating properly at this time.
System off upon arrival, customer had vacuumed out water from drain pan. I checked filter and coil to make sure weren’t clogged cleared condensate drain lines two times. Went to condenser noticed very low on charge recharged system and retested drain line which was good.
Air handler working and condenser working coil slightly dirty cleaned coil tested pressures which were normal. Coil did have a little ice on it told customer to keep fan running for a little to defrost system and customer changed filter.
