Remove old oil furnace and install amana 96% furnace with UV light media filter cabinet and condenset pump seal all duct work insulated evaporator cabinet run flu and fresh air pipe start system up and test drain all was good balance was paid by check #2249
Cracked heat exchanger carrier furnace 2007. PPM exceeding 300. We were here last week and replaced flame sensor and capacitor. Both parts will come off of final replacement pricing per dj.
Found busted baseboard upon arrival for (great room). Replaced , filled and drained boiler. Tested operation. Once all zones were purged and boiler was purged I turned boiler on. Let boiler reach 180degrees. Then noticed a strong odor of electrical burning or melting. Found circulator pump for kids bedroom scorching hot to the touch. Replaced and tested further operation. Boiler is now running normal and all zones both return and supply are hot. Recommend to add antifreeze into system to further prevent more pipes from freezing and bursting. Customer is thinking about replacement.

Upon arrival found furnace tripping on open limit switch. System was not getting to 180 degrees of high limit. Air filter was new and ductwork was all open. Customer ordered his own 180F high limit switch, will replace himself and cal us if that does not fix system.
Service for free water test. Tested customers water. Results: PH 7.0 Hardness 12 TDS 320 Iron content 7.0+ ppm Provided estimate for a softner to treat the hard water and iron. Customer is satisfied with service.
Arrived and the customer stated intermittent hot water. Found the pressure switch not closing when the inducer motor came on. Tested the draw from the inducer which was at .54 and the pressure switch should close at .27. Need to order pressure switch.
Cleaned and serviced one oil boiler, vacuumed combustion chamber and chimney, cleaned around boiler, changed filter, strainer and nozzle assembly, cleaned burner head, and inside burner shoot, inspected all water components no signs of leaks, boiler pressure normal, all zone valves opened and closed, circulator operational, supply and return lines hot, performed combustion and efficiency test which everything looked normal, system operational and working.
I have the customers house for a water leak and it was boiler, or if it was leaking out the bottom expansion tank had failed an air vent was also leaking, system has antifreeze in it, made these recommendations customers denied Repair
Customers high limit was only set to 150, raise it to 180
Checked zone operation, bled air from second floor zone. Tested zone operation in living room, possible bad zone valve. Zone valve will not close. Customer will address the issue with his oil company.
Found fresh air pipe frozen in 90. Removed fresh air pipe off top of furnace to allow customer to use heat until pipe defrosts on its own. Showed customer how to reattach fresh air pipe in a few days. Informed him furnace will be pulling air from basement in mean time and he may want to leave basement door slightly open to make sure enough air gets to unit. Checked piping outside and no visible signs of blockage from outside. When I removed fresh air pipe near unit he pipe began dripping water which indicates the pipe is frozen somewhere along run indoors. System is currently now running.
Arrived at customers house for a no heat call downstairs, Found filter in Blower wheel which caused system to go off in high limit and blow wheel to be stuck running for 90 minutes
