The work done was excellent. The technician was courteous and efficient. He showed me the items he was replacing and the reason he was replacing them. My only problem was that he arrived an hour after the two hour window we were given, thus tying up our afternoon longer than expected.
Folkes sent 2 very nice, strong young men. Great job 👏🏼
I had both a water pressure and shower mixer valve issue. When Chris came I explained the problems and he immediately recognized the issues and solutions. He even said he had the parts in his truck. It was easy to tell Chris was fully familiar with the problems. He replaced the pressure valve in the basement and the balancer and mixer valves in the shower. Chris realized that the original builder of the house had hooked the hot and cold feeders backwards. He tried to compensate for this by tweaking the work. He didn’t want to give in. He was very neat. If I have plumbing issues in the future I will ask for Chris by name. There was a little sticker shock over the bill; perhaps it was because I had no experience to base the price on. All in all, happy.
Had new water softener & reverse osmosis system put in by Zack from Folkes. Neat job and a very nice young man. Thank you.

Service for a quote to install a new well tank, and water treatment system. Existing well system is getting old. The well tank is from at least 1992, the well pump is from 2008, and the treatment system was put in about 7 years. The existing well system is working, however the well pump has no ground wire, and the well tank is severely rotten on the bottom. Customer would like to replace or upgrade the well system and treatment system at the same time. Also is looking into having a high efficiency boiler installed which will require the water to be treated first. There is currently a small basic sediment filter and no UV light. So since it is a well system, we recommend installing a UV light and sediment filter combo unit after the new treatment system. Will provide a few different options on which way to go about replacing the systems. The only unknown is if we will have to trench from the front of the house to the well in order to run the proper conduit and well wire for the well sys

I then removed the old cartridge and replaced with a new one. I turned the water back on and checked for leaks. There are no leaks at this time. The shower head was clogged and needed to be replaced, the customer gave me a shower head and the shower is working great at this time. I noticed the hot water heater pan was full of water, so i sucked it out and there may be a slow leak on the water heater. I told the customer to keep an eye on it, if it fills back up the heater has to be replaced. I left an estimate to replace the water heater. I then thanked the customer for choosing folks and left.
Cleaned and serviced gas fired furnace. Cleaned the flame sensor, pressure switch hosing and the manifold orfices. Found a weak blower capacitor, replaced it. Also when replacing the filter noticed there was a 1 inch in there but the slot could fit a 4 inch.
