Found condensate line clogged and backing up, cleared drain line and tested drain.
Primary control tripped. Pulled nozzle assembly out and noticed one electrode burnt so adjusted electrodes and put new nozzle in cycled boiler 10 times and didnâ€™t cut off or try to recycle. And reached temperature.
Called out for a leaking toilet. After speaking with the customer regarding the leaking toilet. I gave an estimate to remove and reset the toilet. I explained that we will need to come back with a wax seal to properly reset the toilet. The customer wasnâ€™t satisfied with the price of the quote and said that her husband will do the job. Customer refused to pay the diagnostic fee.
Found seized fan motor for first floor condenser and capacitor dead. Replaced both fan motor and capacitor. System operational and working at this time.
Found bad relay and wires not going to right place causing transformer to pop. Replaced transformer and relay and fixed wiring so system works on heat and cooling.
Tripped breaker, compressor and condenser fan motor pulling high amp draw told customer to cool down system with garden hose everyday for 10 minutes, (only on really hot days) recommend residential replacement.
Found loose wire nut on condenser 24v wiring, seems like it was spliced before and the wire but came loose. Tightened and system came on.
Performed multi system tune up, checked all components and tested operation of units. Both systems are operating properly at this time.
Found blower motor seized. Will need to order from carrier and follow up with customer for pricing and availability to do work.
Completed replacement of 16â€ zoning damper for main second floor zone. Tested damper for opening and closing function.
Found return duct detached. Secured it down to unit and tested operation. No further issues to report.
Installed 4 ton Amana ac system, new linset, relocated thermostat provided by homeowner, installed 20x20 media filter at air handler and secondary drain pan with float switch. Reconnected condensate pvc pipe, new P trap.
Found leak on evaporator capillary tube. Brazed leak, pressure tested system to 400 psi, evacuated and recharged system. Checked system running pressures and temperatures. Customer is calling in credit card to office.
Opened zone damper but noticed condenser coming on. Had a E111 low pressure shut down code. Jumped low pressure switch and hooked gauges up and system empty on refrigerant. Will have to come back to do nitrogen leak search.
Repair did not correct problem. Replaced broken damper link for zone damper. Damper will now close but not open. Spring no longer has energy to push damper back open, which most likely broke link to begin with. Need to get pricing and availability replace zone damper.
