I called about my secondary drip pan filling. Not only were they on time, they were early. Noah came out and figured out the problem and fixed it for me. He was very knowledgeable about the system and had good situational awareness. I’m very pleased with the service and will use them again.

Customer was out of oil and had delivery today. Bled lines and boiler fired right up tested zones and indirect zones got hot and boiler ran normally. Did see water around indirect tank, gave estimate to replace, customer states he currently has a warranty on his existing tank.
When I arrived indoor unit was running but outdoor unit was not. Capacitor was visibly swollen as soon as I looked at it. Tested capacitor, my reading showed that the capacitor was at zero. Replaced capacitor. Checked pressures. Tested unit. System operational.
Found secondary drain pan was full of water. Vacuumed about 8 gallons of water from drain pan. Drain line appeared to be clogged. Cleared drain line. Unit had 19Â° split a supply and return. Pressures looked good. Tested unit. System operational.
Arrived and found the system freezing up a little bit. Found the air filter plugged due to the customer having the floors sanded. Replaced the filter and told the customer to leave the system off for an hour or two then turn it back on and the system will operate properly.
No AC, found secondary drain pan full of water tripped float switch, removed water, checked main drain pan found it to be rusted and cracked which caused water to leak into secondary pan, also found blower motor constantly running, removed low voltage wiring from board to see if blower motor would shut down, but it did not, tested voltage at board and found short at the relay which is causing the blower to constantly run.
Customer had another contractor look at system and said there was a refrigerant leak. Cycled system and checked system running pressures and temperatures. Pressure and temperatures are normal at this time, sub cooling in manufacturers recommended range. Let system run for 30 minutes with no change or lockouts. Checked air filter and evaporator coil. Found no problems at this time.
Completed annual ac tune up of one system. Customer placed air filter upon arrival. Recommend duct cleaning.
Completed annual ac tune up of one ac system. Found a substantial amount of growth on the inside of the indoor unit. Recommend duct cleaning and uv light. Also gave customer pricing on moving air filter from air hand,ear to the hallway for easier access for customer to replace air filter. 14x30x1.
Performed annual AC tuneup on 2 systems. Found biological growth in attic unit highly recommend UV light. Also recommend duct cleaning. Basement unit was low on refrigerant. Also blower wheel was very very dirty. Cleaned blower wheel and unit. Charged system with R410A. And it had a 22Â° split a supply and return at head unit. Tested units. Systems operation.
Arrived and found customer stating pool heat pump fan inoperable unless he starts it with a screw driver. Told customer I can only check the capacitor for him. Checked the capacitor and it was within range. Told to call a pool expert.
Indoor unit was functioning properly. Outdoor unit compressor was not running. Found unit had weak outdoor capacitor. Replaced capacitor. Tested unit, unit has 20Â° split at air handler supply and return. Pressures look good. System operational.
Customer stated air flow just is t enough home staying at 73 degrees and has thermostat set for 67, checked pressures which are normal, system has a new filter, checked blower speed which is already set to high setting, mostly on second floor just doesnâ€™t have the push, the supply trunk downstairs has three collars coming off of it which are very small 5-6 inch metal supply ducts, the ductwork is under sized, explained to customer the issue which he understands, and did speak with customer about our maintenance agreement he just bought the home and will have to help him to use the heat pump controls and emergency setting.
Turned system on when I arrived. Outdoor pressures were 136 psi on the low side 410 on the high side. Temperature was in the low 70s so unit operates pretty good in 70Â° ambient temperature. Ran through Tonyâ€™s notes from early June with Kurt, Kurt suggested the only way we can be sure what is wrong with unit,is to evacuate system, make sure thereâ€™s no contaminants in line, pressure test and vacuum down and install fresh refrigerant. Also replace TXV and filter dryer. Unit semi operational.
Customer stated air flow from vents seemed weak. He just moved into home and has never had central air. Found washable filter plugged. Replaced filter. Checked vents for air flow and air flow is normal. Temperature split at unit is 20 degrees and about 17.5 at vents. Took pressures. Sub cooling is at 8.7. System is running normally. Thermostat dropped 2 degrees while I was there was 73 to 71.
Replaced txv and tested system operation. No other issues to report. Have a 19 degree temperature split after install. Took picture of the pressures to show the proper levels.
