Scott was amazing!!! And if Folkes would have been fair in pricing and not try to sell me a 65 dollar compactor for 299.00 I would have used their service.

Arrived and the customer had heat, but too much heat to the second floor. After testing the system found that there was a short in the terminal block for the thermostat. Recommended to replace them both since they are the same age. Replaced both and tested the system. The customers mother was here to approve the repairs. No other issues to report.

Service for clog: Arrived to the customers home. Customer says they have a sewer main back up. Went downstairs to look at the main waste pipe. There was a house trap at the end of the waste pipe. Sewage water was coming out of the trap for the laundry. There are no clean-outs in the line other than the one on the house trap. Gave a price to snake the line and allowed me to proceed. Tried using the air snake from the 1 1/2 by 4 Inch twye but was unsuccessful. Tried snaking through the twye with the main line snake but was unsuccessful and also through the house trap. Went upstairs and pulled out the toilet. Used main through the toilet but the cable would not go down the line. Tried using the camera but the light was not functioning. Wrote up some estimates to repair and clear the waste pipes. Cleaned up mess. Customer paid balance in card,

Service for bursted baseboard line. Arrived to home to find that baseboard line had bursted. Gave customer estimate to replace section of baseboard and purge boiler. Customer declined service at this time. Customer is satisfied with service.

Completed annual clean and service of one gas fired boiler. Removed and cleaned burners. Performed combustion analysis. Checked all components of boiler. Found air vent corroded and temp/pressure gauge inoperable. Recommend to replace air vent and gauge. No further issues to report at this time. Customer states he will call when ready to make said repairs and also to have a comfort advisor come out to give estimate for replacement of gas boiler.

Folkes arrived on 11/26/2021 for a main water line leak. Upon arrival I noticed there was water flowing down the driveway. Customer stated the line was from the date of he house being built which is from the 80s. The leak is possibly from wear and tear on the pipe. I left estimates to replace the line from the leak to the valve as well as replace it all the way to the house. Customer is going to talk to the insurance company as well as the town to figure out what to do. He will get back to us wince he figures out what he wants to do. I then thanked the customer for choosing folkes and left.

Arrived to home and customer said no cool air being produced, checked filter which was new and made sure nothing cutting power to unit, turned AC system on heard fan running outside but not compressor, pressures were equalized, system was installed this year by homeowner, tried putting a hard start kit on system and compressor would still not come on, tested compressor and found compressor had seized, customer has a warranty where he bought unit from and will get parts. System not operational.

Completed annual maintenance on two rooftop package units, cleaned coils, inspected return filters which will need to be changed in fall when we service the gas side of the rooftop units 16x20x2, tested capacitors which both tested in range, all wiring components look good, amp readings normal, cleared condensate traps, tested pressures left side unit normal, right side unit pressures were low recharged unit with three pounds of 410A, tested pressures much better and temperature difference went from 5 to 16, system operational and working. Will need to bill customer for work performed.

23 vents in total cleaned as well as trunks for both systems. Each grill was taken down and cleaned with disinfectant wipes.

Arrived at home to condenser not running. Removed panel and found capacitor missing from condenser (took pictures). Wires from previous capacitor were left hanging inside of unit. Customer stated another company was out here and told her she needed a new unit. Installed a turbo 200 and unit ran normally until low pressure switch kicked off unit, had gauges on and pressures were very low. Gave customer estimate for turbo 200 and refrigerant recharge. Customer will hold off on repairs due to price and may call us back to add refrigerant.
