Folkes arrived on 09/17/2021 for a back up by the washer. Upon arrival I noticed that there was water on floor but it was a little less then last time. I also noticed that the one drain was open, there used to be a sink and no one capped off the old drain. I capped the drain off and put a brick under the pipe to get the right pitch. I then ran water from the washing machine hose for approximately 5 mins, there was no back up at this time. I didn’t not run the washer due to it being $2 to use it. The washer may have high volume when it drains and the old pipe might not be able to drain fast enough. There is a running trap to far away from the washer. I recommended repiping a new line from the washer to the main drain if the problem happens again. I then thanked the customer for choosing folks and left.
