Furnace not firing upon arrival, thermostat calling for heat, found deck limit switch tripped, reset switch and furnace fired up, found very dirty air filter in furnace,had 135 degrees coming from vents and house jumped 5 degrees upon letting it run, told customer he has to change filter every 30 days, system operational,and working.
Customer had thermostat set to program, customer is older, removed Honeywell T6 thermostat and installed Emerson thermostat which is a little more user friendly, showed customer what buttons to use to higher and lower temperature, waited for furnace to make a cycle and shut down. System operational set thermostat to to 72 degrees for customer.
System operational. Turned off program at thermostat. Customer sets temperature and will hold 24/7. No issues to report
Upon arrival customer had no heat, thermostat was off and had lock on screen, put in manufacture code of 1234 and thermostat was unlocked, customer keeps home at 78 so set thermostat to 78, let system run home got up to 75, customer had me lower thermostat to 73 in home and set it, removed program from thermostat, cycled system fired each time, system operational and working. Customer is older and got confused with the thermostat.
Removed old furnace, installed 75k btu Miller oil furnace. Re-connected existing line and low voltage electrical and to existing flue piping. Ran 2 new copper oil lines from furnace to oil tank , 1 supply and 1 return line. Added a fire-o-metic valve to each, insulted any piping exposed outside. Model-CMF2 80 PO CONV. Serial-CMG2101056880
