Customer stated heat pump has froze. Found heat pump locked out on low pressure fault code. Reset and checked running pressures and compared to manufacturers pressure recommendations on 22F Fahrenheit ambient. Current running pressures are 72/337psi, which are normal. Outdoor coil is clean. System went in 15 second defrost. Not long enough to thaw any ic build up on outdoor coil. Need to get pricing and availability on defrost board and defrost sensor.

The customer stated the burner would come on then go out. He also said the power venter he would have to bang on it for it to come on sometimes. He does not want the power venter replaced. He’s trying to get one more year out of the system then replace it next year. The reason the burner was nit staying on is due to the cad cell eye having black soot all over it. The reason for this is a weak ignition transformer. Recommended to replace it. Cleaned the cad cell eye off and the system ran okay. The customer does not want any repairs made at this time.

Upon arrival found thermostat at 55 degrees. Turned thermostat to 70 and furnace fired. Found blower motor always on set blower on auto. Hot air thru vents.

Upon arrival found furnace turning on. Inspected transformer and found very weak spark. Replaced transformer and oil filter with strainer. Fired system and system stayed running.

Customer had to hit primary control last night, boiler running upon arrival, cycled boiler which fired each time but did sound weird, pulled nozzle assembly and found nozzle black and electrodes sitting on nozzle , changed nozzle and adjusted electrodes, cycled boiler again fired up and sounded much smoother, tapped primary control while running and no trips, system operational and working.

No heat. Customer stated he had to keep hitting reset on primary. Turned thermostat on and furnace fired up. Turned power off to unit 10 times and burner fired up each time. Removed nozzle assembly and found nozzle completely plugged. Replaced nozzle and air filter. Let system run and primary did not trip while I was servicing system. System needs a cleaning, customer took out MA we will schedule cleaning for customer. Please mail invoice.

Customer stated no heat from the first floor. The thermostat was blank, found the batteries dead in it. Replaced and tested the system. Signed the customer up for a maintenance agreement that included the two gas furnaces, two air conditioning systems and two gas water heaters. Emailed invoice to the customer.

Estimate: Arrived to the customers home. Customer would like an estimate to install a new vanity with 8 inch spread faucet, ptrap, and to replace leaking angle valves. Gave a price just to replace the angle valves and a separate price to install valves with the vanity. Valves/drain do not line up with the new vanity and would need to repiped trough the inner drawer to able to connect with the sink. Customer said they would install the vanity themselves. Allowed me to replace the valves. Shutoff the main to the house. Drained down water lines. Removed old valves and hoses. Installed 2 new angle valves. Turned on the water and checked for leaks. Customer paid with a credit card.

Service for water leak: Arrived to the customers home. Customer has a water leak under the kitchen sink. Found leak coming from 1/4 tubing for the ice maker line and a leak on the push connects. This work is covered under warranty. Repaired the leaks. Install a John guest angle valve. Tested for leaks and flushed out the RO system. Gave the customer an estimate to remove the toe kick heater.

Free estimate for setting bath tub/jacuzzi 12/21/21 Customer already has the tub he bought it himself. It’s the same size as the one that is being replaced. A section of the tile encasing the tub needs to be cut out to disconnect old jacuzzi wiring to pump. Downstairs below the tub, ceiling needs to be opened to change waste and overflow. Tub needs to be leveled and set. Gave customer estimate that does not include replacing tile or sheet rock.

Humidifier on 2nd Floor has a bad relay and humidistat, may also have a bad solenoid valve need to see if parts are even available to order, there’s also a flex run just laying on the ground in attic, looks like it was attached to a room vent but was removed, basement has a eco bee thermostat that customer installed but couldn’t get it to operate, found c wire not connected to taco zone panel, adjusted and tested, ecobee thermostat is now functional, customer stated he will set it up, also basement humidifier has a bad humidistat, and could possibly have a bad solenoid valve, parts need to be ordered to replace. Customer declined on repairs for humidifiers for 1st and 2nd floor, he would like to have only the 2nd floor humidifier replaced.

Cleaned and serviced one oil fired boiler, brushed and vacuumed combustion chamber and flu piping, wiped down boiler of dust, changed filter nozzle and strainer, cleaned electrodes, cleaned burner head, bled oil line, performed combustion and efficiency test which everything looked normal, inspected all water components no signs of leaks, drained a little water out of indirect tank which was clear no sediment in tank, system operational and working.

Water softener install: Arrived to the customers home. Customer was aware of what was going to be done today. Started by draining and cutting out the well tank. Then, I cut the old water softener system. Customer says they wanted the Uv light filter combo, but I was not informed. Told the customer I would have to come back tomorrow morning to do that. Started piping the well tank. Hooked the electric back to the well tank. Installed a ball valve and checked for leaks. Put the resin and brine tank in place. Piped in the water lines to the softener in copper. Install another ball valve after the softener. Piped into 3 inch PVC wye into the 3” Abs. Piped in a 2 inch trap. Piped in the backwash line. Will have to come back tomorrow to install the air gap. Added salt to the brine tank. Plugged in the softener. Programmed the softener. Made the softener regenerate and backwash cycle. Checked for leaks. Customer is ok with us coming back tomorrow to finish the rest of the project. Will brin
