This is to repipe the small section at the bottom of the stairs and add a new clean out. We will replace all the old cast iron with pvc in that small area at bottom of the stairs Folks arrived on 09/24/2021 to repipe a small section of pipe at the bottom of the stairs. Upon arrival I started by cutting out the old section of cast iron that was being replaced. I then began to install new pvc I started with connecting a new y on the ground for the laundry tray to tie into. I then put another y for the main line coming from upstairs. I then installed a clean out to have access to clean the main line. I then connected to the other main line with a t and connected to the cast iron as well as the copper. I then connected back to the laundry tray and ran water in the whole house for a few minutes to check for leaks. There are no leaks at this time. I also let the customer know that the cast iron and copper line are in ok shape at this time but maybe something to think about replacing in the
Cleaned and serviced gas furnace. Inspected heat exchanger. Cleaned flame sensor. Cleared drain lines. Checked pressure switch’s, wiring, duct, blower capacitor, and blower. Performed combustion and efficiency test. Tested unit. System operational.
This is to replace the old laundry tray with a new one including the faucet and Folkes arrived to replace the laundry tray. Upon arrival I turned the water off and removed the the old sink. I then put the new sink in its place and began to run new water lines to the new sink. I then ran a new drain line to the sink as well. I noticed the the cast iron drain line is rotting and I left an estimate to replace a section and the whole pipe in the basement. I then turned the water on and tested everything. There are no leaks in the new water lines as well as the new drain, the only problem is the small leak in the cast iron drain. I let the customer know. I temporarily patched it but I let the customer know it had to be fixed. I then thanked the customer for choosing folks and left.
Folkes arrived on 08/27/2021 for a few issues. First we checked the kitchen sink customer states the sink fills up when the dishwasher empty’s then drains quick. I stated it was a venting issue and we could pipe in a vent if customer wants to. We then checked the laundry tray downstairs and noticed a big crack in the sink.I left an estimate to replace and remove the laundry tray. I then thanked customer for choosing folkes and left.
Installed triangle tube instinct combi boiler, all new components required by boiler installation system, one zone system, domestic hot water pipped in, ran gas line to boiler, installed condensate pump, exhaust and fresh air piped outside in 3†pvc pipe. Have to comeback to install 9†smoke cap on old flue pipe
