Arrived and the customer stated with the thermostat off the outdoor condenser would still run. Pulled the cover off and found the contactor pulled in. Tested for voltage between the coil terminals and had no voltage. The contactor was very burnt up and was sticking. Once I tapped on the contactor it opened the contact. Replaced the contactor under warranty. The indoor coil is still pretty frozen since the condenser was running without the blower on. The customer is gonna leave it off for a couple hours until it thaws and will test it. Operation most likely will be okay since the contactor was the issue. He will call if it is not working properly when he starts it.
