The technician Chris arrived after a brief call and text letting me know who he was and what he looked like. This was fantastic as an added security service that I enjoyed. Chris was friendly, polite, and professional. The job took approximately a few hours and he was quiet and cleaned fairly well up after himself. I am happy with my service. My only downfall was that it took almost three months for an appointment

Found possible leak or crack at hydro unit. Could not get into room w hydro, check video, about 4-6†of water in crawl space. Could not get into it due to water. For now I shut off hydro zone that comes off of water heater so atleast customer can have hot water at faucets. We need to return w plumbers to pump out water in order to perform repairs.
Service for no hot water: Arrived to the customers home. Customer states that their is no hot water and attempted to light the pilot. Went downstairs and checked the unit. The spill switch was off on reset. Checked for draft. Told the customer that it could of been of gust of wind that blew out the pilot. Relit the pilot. Everything working properly at this time. No charge. If there happens to be a problem again in the future, we will look more into it. Or would need a chimney specialist to look at the chimney.
This is to repair a section of pipe Folkes arrived on 01/17/2022 for a burst pipe in crawl space. Upon arrival I noticed the pipe burst on the heating line and drain the water out of the boiler. I fixed the repair so that the was no hole. An hvac tech will be out tomorrow to inspect the boiler and fill it back up. I then thanked the customer for choosing folkes and left.
We installed a new furnace for customer two days ago, we had shut gas off to house to change out furnace, we forgot to relight pilot on hot water heater, relit pilot on water heater and fired right up, also showed customer how to light pilot if it were to happen again.
Service for bidet install: Arrived to the customers home. The customer would like a price to install a bidet to their toilet. Gave the customer a price and allowed me to proceed. Turned the water off and attached the appropriate fittings to the water line. Attached the bidet to the toilet seat. Turned the water on and checked for leaks. Operated the bidet a few times. Everything is working properly at this time. Customer paid with card on file.
Need to replace thermostat on baseboard in living room also need to have access to boiler to better evaluate what is going on with water lines. Landlord will follow up with us in regards to replacing thermostat on baseboard, needs to get approval about pricing. Tenant has had no heat for 2 years in apartment.
Customer had too much heat on second floor in bedroom zone, thermostat in off position, went to boiler to find zone valve stuck open, had to change ball and motor assembly due to older style where it didn’t match up, drained down zone and replaced zone valve assembly, purged all three zones, tested each zone separately, zone valves opened and closed, supply and returns got hot, also lowered temperature on aquastat for indirect tank water temperature was 160 degrees, lowered to 120, system operational. Boiler is up there in age is about 33 years old just let customer know they should start planning for new boiler in near future.
Service for burst pipe in the home. The line connecting to the washing machine box had burst and we tore out the wall behind it located the burst and replaced the pipe. We cut the burst section out of the pipe and couplinged the pipe back together. The leak was dealt with and all is well as of now.
Service for leak under dishwasher from frozen pipes. The dishwasher feed component broke on the appliance and caused water to leak from under it. We shut the valve to the dishwasher off so no water would get to it and explained how it’s an appliance part that needs to be replaced. Pipes froze due to uninsulated outside wall. The customer now has water and all is well.
Cut burst section of 3/4†baseboard line and repair. Customer happy with repair. Payment received.
Frozen pipes. Pipes cleared from running water just when I arrived at home. Customer asked me to inspect clogged tub drain. Attempted to snake drain but piping would not allow snake access (even without any heads on snake). Estimates were provided to customer to open ceiling below and repipe tub overflow/trap/ and possible add cleanout if needed. Payment received for todays service.

Customer contacted another company and cancelled when I arrived.
Upon arrival found second floor zone not heating. Went down to boiler and found second floor air bound and circulator pump not running. Also found air vent leaking and expansion tank water logged. Replaced water components and purged all three zones. All three zones pipes came back hot.
Upon arrival found primary control tripped and no oil flow to furnace. Found firematic valve wheel broken. Replaced wheel and bled oil line. System running. Recommend replacement of oil hot water heater.
