On time(big deal in my book), very knowledgeable and efficient!
Our experience was superb! In a world where good service is VERY hard to come by! From making the appointment to saying goodbye to our AC technician, we felt comfortable and at ease. David our technician, was thorough and spoke to us in a language we could understand. We believe he went above and beyond in his service. We are very satisfied, so satisfied that we are making an appointment for our boiler next! Unfortunately we had a couple things we didn’t expect that we’re added on to the service call HOWEVER, we didn’t feel taken over the coals, the prices were reasonable and justified. Thank you!
Top notch service. Friendly, professional, efficient, and honest.
Tony was very informative and left a great first impression
Shane and Tyler worked determined to solve a repeated, very slow kitchen sink leak It was a difficult leak that produced a spot or two slowly over a period of time. Tyler ended up replacing all the drainage pipes, which solved the problem. We are very happy with them and "FOLKES".
Noah was very profession and honest. After being told something completely bogus as an attempt to sell me on a new unit by my previous company it was so nice and very appreciative to get an honest answer as to what the problem was. Something simple that could have been fixed last year. Done with my previous company. Thank you Folkes!
Noah has been to the house a few times and has always been awesome!
Customer had stated that water would get scorching hot after running for about 15-20 minutes, ran faucets in kitchen and first floor bathroom for about 15 minutes and sure enough water temperature started to creep up, turned temperature of water down boiler shut off, went to boiler and noticed with water heater not calling for hot water boiler pressure began to climb to 35 psi, customer has a leak internally in coil of indirect tank, gave customer estimate to replace tank. Will let us know of what action they will take.
Repiped manifolds at boiler, new zone valves, ball valves, air scoop, air vents, transformer, purge station. Pipping as needed to reconnect heating loops. Purged heating pipes and turned heat on. Call for payment
Boiler was installed by friend of customer, boiler piping was not done properly, need to follow up with price to replace all piping and have it re-done properly.
When I arrived boiler temperature was around 215°. Boiler pressure was at zero psi. Replaced Filtro expansion tank, also changed to very corroded air vents. Boiler would not reach proper pressure due to various leaks coming from waterlines. Relief valve is installed at boiler drain must be Relocated. Circulator pump has possibly failed due to running dry. Kurt recommend sending senior tech tomorrow.
Replaced combustion chamber fiberglass on one oil fired peerless boiler, and also replaced air vent as well, purged all zones, tested zones supply and return came back hot, waited until indirect tank was satisfied, bled oil line, tested operation of system which everything is working fine, boiler cut off at temperature and zone valves were satisfied. Customer will call to schedule cleaning of boiler.
Arrived and found the boiler tripped. Reset and the boiler ran good for 5 seconds then ran rough and shut down. Found the air vent leaking a lot at the top of the boiler. Closed it off and continued to check the system over. Checked oil pump pressure, and the oil flow. Oil pressure is at 140psi. Found the oil had some air in it when bleeding it. Found the oil seeping out of the joints from the filter to the oil pump. Took it apart and redid the pipe dope on them. Also replaced the filter and gasket. Tested the oil flow after and had to air in the line. Started the system and it ran longer but then started to run rough and shut down again. Opened the combustion chamber up and found the entire thing soaking wet. The target wall which is fiberglass was wet. This is what is causing the boiler to run bad and then stop. Due to the air vent leaking all over the boiler it caused the chamber to get soaked. We will need to return tomorrow to replace the air vent and the target wall. Scheduled be

Service for return trip to inspect piping: arrived to home to find that customer was concerned over left over copper to outside faucet. Inspected length of pipe and fitting and found everything in really good condition all working properly at this time. Explained everything to customer. Customer is satisfied with service.
Ac tune up. Replaced 20x25 air filter in ceiling return vent, customer no longer uses merv filter. Cleared trap and drain line, water is being removed outside. Took temperature readings and had a 20 degree split which is very good. Tested blower motor, tested normal. Outdoor capacitor was just replaced and tested normal. Contactor was in good shape. Compressor and outdoor fan amp readings were both in range. Found a significant amount of bacterial growth all along indoor coil in air handler. Recommended installing a UV light to kill and attack future bacterial growth from building up.

Service for installing a customer supplied Kohler one piece toilet. Customer had the lines repiped and the wall had to be opened. So the customer wanted to get the wall repaired and painted before setting the new toilet. The old toilet was already removed and everything was ready to go. Also it was a one piece toilet so it did not have to be put together. As a courtesy we discounted the price from the standard install since all of that was already done. Once we installed the new toilet, wax seal, supply line, and mounting bolts, the toilet was adjusted and tested. The new toilet works great. There are no leaks. Cleaned the work area, collected signatures and payment. Job is now complete. **Customer had a $75 off toilet installation from his membership box. Could not find that particular discount in the price book so we put a $25 and $50 off coupon on the job to equal the $75 off.

Service for leaking sewage main: arrived to home to find that sewage main was not leaking but that it was fresh water coming through where sewage pipe was installed. Explained to customer how concrete is porous causing water to leak through and cause water stains. Explained to customer how where pipe come through the hole that was drilled in foundation it was not properly patched around pipe causing ground water to leak through. Gave customer estimate to dig down to line and install double y clean out and patch the wall with hydraulic cement and tar so that the water doesn’t leak through the wall. Customer is selling the house and this was found during the inspection. He will talk it over with all parties in the sale and get back to us.
